Members of the Telangana Teaching Government Doctors Association (TTGDA) on Tuesday met Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha and demanded transparency in transfers.
They appealed to the Minister to give priority in transfer to employees working in peripheral medical colleges for more than five years. The transfers are taking place after seven years.
They demanded that those working in Hyderabad be transferred and those working in districts be give opportunity to work in Hyderabad.
Hardship allowance should be applied to all tribal and rural areas (50% for tribal area and at least 30% for other colleges); State to UGC conversion issue file has been completed and reached health department for final order;
The Minister responded positively to the appeal by the doctors.
