The Journalists Sports Association of Andhra Pradesh (JSAAP) organised a free cardiac medical camp for print and electronic media persons, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Vijayawada and the Save Young Hearts Foundation, at the IMA hall in Vijayawada on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr G Eswar said that according to a recent survey, two percent of the youth were suffering from blood pressure and one per cent, from diabetes. So, the youth should follow doctors’ suggestions and take necessary precautions, he said.
Former Sub Collector Ch Bhanu Prasad said that youngsters should take good care of their health. Rotary Club of Vijayawada president Dr Nagaraju Kaja, Information & Public Relations Joint Director Kiran, Professor MC Das, JSAAP working president T Ratnakar, vice-president D Ravikanth, AP High Court Bar Council treasurer Dr Jandhyala Shastry, Dr Ramesh Hospitals’ cardiologist Dr Mamatha and senior journalist Dara Gopi were present.
