All roads leading to Annapurna Studios, where Akkineni Nagarjuna hosted a glittering wedding reception for his younger son, Akhil Akkineni, who tied the knot with his girlfriend Zainab on Friday in a simple ceremony held at Nagarjuna’s residence in Hyderabad. The wedding reception, held on Sunday at Annapurna Studios, turned into a grand affair with a star-studded guest list featuring prominent personalities from the South Indian film industry, politics and business circles.
Superstar Mahesh Babu, who usually skips public events and sends his wife Namrata in his place, made an exception and attended the reception in a casual T-shirt, accompanied by Namrata and their daughter Sitara. Tollywood celebrities such as Ram Charan and his wife Upasana, director Sukumar along with his wife Tabitha, Nani, Nikhil, Adivi Sesh, Sudheer Babu, Venkatesh, Brahmaji and Ali, among many others, were present to bless the newlywed couple. From the Kannada film industry, stars Yash and Kichcha Sudeep were also in attendance.
Top producers including Ashwini Dutt, Allu Aravind, PVP, TG Vishwa Prasad, BVSN Prasad, KL Narayana, Dil Raju, Swapna Dutt and SKN were present for the gala evening. From the political arena, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had also attended the occasion, alongside leaders such as Andhra Pradesh MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao, MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju, CM Ramesh, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao and former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, among other dignitaries and business tycoons.
Nagarjuna and Amala welcomed guests with radiant smiles and ensured everyone was comfortable with the impeccable arrangements made for the evening. Several guests were seen complimenting Nagarjuna for his warm hospitality. The entire Akkineni family was in attendance to greet and receive the guests. It was truly a night filled with glamour, celebration and heartfelt family moments.
