All eyes on BRS manifesto

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will launch the BRS manifesto for the November 30 Assembly polls on Sunday. He is all set to launch the BRS campaign from Husnabad in Siddipet district as it is considered to be a lucky constituency.

In the 2014 and the 2018 Assembly polls, he started his campaign from the same place and the party won 63 and 88 seats respectively. BRS sources said KCR will undertake a brisk campaign addressing 41 public rallies beginning Sunday. KCR would address a public meeting at Husnabad in Siddipet district, marking the launch of his campaign, they said.

According to the tentative tour programme released late on Tuesday, KCR will address public rallies at Jangaon and Bhuvanagiri on October 16, followed by campaign meetings at Sircilla and Siddipet on October 17.

He will take part in two meetings at Jadcherla and Medchal on October 18. After a week, he will attend three rallies on October 26 and his campaign would go on till November 9. He will file his nomination from both Gajwel and Kamareddy constituencies on November 9. The ruling BRS in the state has already announced its list of 105 candidates in August much ahead of others securing a head start over others in the campaign while the BJP and the Congress are still in the screening stage.

Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday said that the CM will campaign in 100 constituencies and a meeting will be held in Hyderabad.

The campaign plan has been drafted until November 28.
