TPCC President Revanth Reddy said that people have understood that the BJP and the BRS are one. He said that there was an understanding between the BJP and the BRS in Parliamentary elections.
BRS MLC Kasireddy Narayana Reddy joined the Congress in the presence of AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge in New Delhi on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Revanth said that the BJP and the BRS have a strong bond and said that the BJP is shielding the corruption of the BRS. He said that the steering of the BJP is in the hands of Adani and the steering of the BRS is in the hands of Asaduddin Owaisi.
“Vamsi Chand Reddy invited Narayana Reddy to the seat he was contesting. I appreciate his decision. Other leaders in Telangana should take Vamsi Chand Reddy as an example and come forward,” Revanth said.
“We have no government. There are no posts. However, Kasireddy, Mynampally and Rekha Naik joined the Congress.
It will be known in 45 days who are the dwarfs,” Revanth said.
“Are you calling us dwarfs? What is KCR? Baahubali? He should look at his face in the mirror,” he said.
Revanth said that two thieves in disguise (KTR, Harish Rao) fell on the people. He reminded that Congress made Harish a minister. The Congress made Harish Rao who wears rubber sandals a minister. Ask KCR what the Congress has done and he will tell you. It should be remembered that the positions and status you are enjoying were given by the Congress, he added.
He said that the Congress had implemented schemes like Arogya Shri, Rythu loan waiver and the fee reimbursement scheme. Revanth said that YS Rajasekhar Reddy implemented the free electricity distribution scheme for farmers. Revanth asked why the development in Siddipet, Sirisilla and Gajwel is not being seen in other constituencies.
“You cannot criticize the Congress for not developing Telangana. Do you have the schemes that are being implemented in Chhattisgarh and Himachal?” Revanth said.
“The BRS priority is elections, votes, seats. The Congress priority is public welfare. We have said what we will do for the people. The BJP has no candidates and no manifesto,” he said.
“The Congress was not in power when Telangana was created. You have been in power for two terms after Telangana came. Are you ready to discuss our 10-year rule in United AP and your 10-year rule in Telangana?” Revanth said.
He said that if the state had a surplus budget of Rs 16,000 crore. You left debts amounting to lakhs of crores. After being in power for 10 years, what can they bring in the name of manifesto, he asked. Revanth said that it seems that new lies are being prepared in the name of the manifesto. He accused them of extortion in the name of the Telangana sentiment and that the expenditure incurred on the construction of the Martyrs’ Stupa, Ambedkar statue and Secretariat and the tenders invited were not comparable.
He said that Rs 1200 crore was spent on the construction of the secretariat when the estimate was only Rs 400 crore. Revanth asked BJP MP Arvind to reveal where the Turmeric Board will be located.
He commented that all surveys indicate that the Congress will win. Revanth made it clear that the six guarantees given to the people will be fulfilled.
