Can Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy take the daring step on former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao like Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did against former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu? The Congress Ministers are telling every day that they will send KCR behind the bars.
The Congress government headed by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is preparing the ground in this direction. There are some similarities in this issue between Telangana and AP. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy was in the jail for about 16 months. Former Chief Minister Chandrababu was the reason for this.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also was in the jail for about six months. Former Chief Minister KCR was the reason for this. Both the Telugu Chief Ministers Revanth and Jagan were released from jail on bail. Jagan filed several cases against Chandrababu and sent him to jail in skill development department scam. Chandrababu was in the jail for about one-and-a-half months and he was released from the jail on bail.
In Telangana also, the Congress government headed by Revanth Reddy is preparing the ground to file several cases against KCR. Like AP Chief Minister Jagan, in Telangana, Chief Minister Revanth also wants to take revange on former Chief Minister KCR who is responsible to send him in to jail.
But the question is does CM Revanth have the guts in this issue like his AP counterpart. If really Revanth wants to send KCR to jail, whether he will take such decision before Lok Sabha elections or after the elections is the question. If Revanth wants to send KCR to jail before the Lok Sabha elections, it will become a political advantage to the Congress or the BRS? In this issue, there are different opinions among the political circles. If KCR is sent to jail before Lok Sabha elections, the BRS will make this as political issue in the Lok Sabha elections. If BRS is able to convince the people that the Congress government is following revenge politics and unnecessarily KCR was sent to jail who fought for separate Telangana State and for the development of the State since last 10 years, it will become a political advantage to BRS in the Lok Sabha elections.
