Centre to purchase 20L tons of boiled rice

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana scheme is helping 80 crore people and that the Centre is extending the scheme for five more years. He said the poor will get free rations under the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana scheme.He said that paddy worth Rs 1.30 lakh crore was purchased from Telangana. In this Kharif season, the Centre will purchase 20 lakh tonnes of boiled rice from Telangana at a higher price, Modi said and appealed to the state government not to delay procuring paddy from farmers.
Modi said that the Congress and the BRS top in corruption. “States used to cooperate with each other in development. However, the BRS government joined hands with the AAP and pocketed crores through the Delhi liquor scam. The AAP and the BRS are cooperating in tackling corruption. The BRS is engaged in serious corruption and is joining hands with the AAP. The Congress party’s friend in Delhi is AAP and AAP is hand in glove with the BRS. But here the BRS and the Congress gave the impression that they are enemies here in Telangana,” Modi said.
He said that people should be careful about opportunistic politics. The Congress and the BRS are one and are contesting elections on one side as their opponent is the BJP on the other side. The BJP is contesting elections with service as its motto. SC, ST laws have been strengthened to punish the attackers.
Addressing the Madigala Vishwaroopam public meeting at Parade Grounds on Saturday, Modi said that for the last 10 years, the BRS government has been betraying the Madiga community.
“The Congress gave Telangana only after many sacrificed their lives. KCR went to thank Congress leaders instead of the victims’ families. I am saying that Dalits have to be careful towards the BRS as well as the Congress. The BRS insulted Ambedkar. The BRS Dalit Virodhi and the Congress are the same. Congress insulted Baba Saheb Ambedkar. The Congress defeated Baba Ambedkar twice in elections. The Congress did not allow to place Ambedkar’s photo in the Central Hall of Parliament. However, the BJP placed Ambedkar’s photo and the BJP is the reason why Ambedkar got Bharat Ratna,” he said.
Modi said the Congress deceived BCs and SCs. The Congress deceived Babu Jagjivan Ram also. Dalit Ramnath Kovind became the President but Congress opposed him. The BJP made an Adivasi woman the President but the Congress opposed her, he said.
“We made Dalit IAS officer Hiralal Samaria the Chief Information Commissioner of India, but the Congress opposed and boycotted the Dalit officer’s oath-taking ceremony,” Modi said.
He said that the Congress had opened the INDIA alliance. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, who insulted Ram Vilas Paswan several times and opposed Rajya Sabha membership for him, is playing a key role in INDIA. Nitish also insulted former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi saying that Manjhi was not eligible for the CM’s post.
“Our government launched ‘Stand up India’ to make SCs and STs industrialists. Mudra loans are given to SCs, STs and OBCs. The Centre is providing a Rs 1,000 crore scholarship to 13 lakh students. The PM Vishwakarma scheme allotted Rs 13,000 crore to help Kammari, Kummari, Mangali and others. Our government is introducing schemes to help all neglected groups,” Modi said.
