Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed senior officials to conduct daily reviews of the progress of the Regional Ring Road (RRR) projects, covering both the northern and southern sections. During a review at the State Secretariat on Wednesday, Revanth Reddy was briefed on the current status of land acquisition and ongoing works, particularly in the northern part of the RRR. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of transparency in land acquisition and the need for regular updates on the status of the project. Revanth Reddy instructed district collectors representing areas covered by the RRR to report daily to the Chief Secretary on land acquisition progress and other related issues. The Chief Minister also suggested the formation of a WhatsApp group including the Chief Secretary, Infrastructure and Projects Advisor Srinivasa Raju, Chief Minister’s OSD Shahnawaz Qasim, district collectors, and R&B officials, to ensure realtime updates on the project’s progress. The Chief Minister urged officials to initiate land acquisition for the southern part of the RRR, specifically along the Sangareddy-Amangal Shadnagar-Choutuppal stretch, which covers 189.20 km. Given the significant progress in land acquisition for the northern part, Revanth Reddy stressed the need to commence similar efforts in the southern section. He advised officials coordinating with the central government to address any technical or other challenges that might arise during the road development process, ensuring simultaneous progress in both sections. Revanth Reddy looked closely at the entire RRR map using Google Maps and proposed adjustments to the alignment of the southern part, while emphasizing that the suggested changes should be made keeping in mind future needs. He instructed officials to conduct field visits and submit a comprehensive report on the suggested changes. Furthermore, the Chief Minister provided guidance on the construction of radial roads in the proposed Future City. He emphasized the need to connect these roads to main roads to ensure smooth, signalfree travel. These radial roads should also facilitate connections between the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and the RRR, supporting future industrial and organizational development in the area. State R&B Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, Nalgonda MP Raghuveer Reddy, Chief Minister Adviser Vem Narender Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Special Chief Secretary to Transport Department Vikas Raj, Chief Minister Principal Secretary V. Seshadri, Chief Minister’s OSD Shahnawaz Qasim, and R&B Special Secretary Dasari Harichandana were present at the meeting.
