DC reviews progress of pre and post-Matric scholarships

District Collector A Sarat has said that it is the duty of the officials of the relevant government departments to sanction the pre and post-Matric scholarships to students.

Reviewing the progress of the disbursement of the scholarships with officials, college principals and high school head masters at the Collectorate auditorium here on Monday, he said that the students would gladly come forward to take provided the officials offer them to disburse the scholarships.

He noted that representations are being received every week during the Praja Vaani programme held on Mondays. He asked the college principals and head masters to make the eligible students to apply through the relevant portal.
