Minister inaugurates fitness coaching camp

Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy on Monday expressed the hope that all the candidates who cleared the preliminary examination of Constable and SI Recruitment Test would get jobs.

The Minister, who arranged coaching for the candidates from Balkonda constituency, who prepared for the recruitment test, launched the pre-physical fitness coaching camp at Velpuru sports grounds.

Out of the 400 candidates, who attended the coaching classes, 168 cleared the preliminary examinations, he said. He hoped that all the 168 would clear the physical standards test and get jobs in the police department. The police officials and PETs would monitor the progress.

He exhorted the candidates to make good use of the training facility. To qualify in the physical test, candidates should clear 1,600 meters running race, four-metre long jump, and others. For women candidates, they should win the 800-meter running race, 2.5 meter long jump and others. Armoor ACP Prabhakar Reddy, RDO Srinivasulu, DCCB vice-chairman Ramesh Reddy, ZPTC Bharati and others took part.
