FROM MONO-ACTING TO POLITICS

Must read

From a young age, I always aspired to be a leader, regardless of the field. I excelled in academics, mono-acting, debates, stage dramas and other extra-curricular activities. My parents were incredibly supportive, playing a pivotal role in shaping me into the person I am today. My maternal grandfather, Pothula Veerabadhra Rao, was a former MLA and Municipal Chairman from the Congress party. I strongly believe his influence has played a significant role in shaping my path toward leadership in politics. During my college years, I served as the general secretary of the NSUI Rajahmundry Town Wing and later as the president of the District NSUI in East Godavari. I was also elected unanimously as the Students’ Union chairman of VT College, Rajahmundry, a position that remains particularly special to me as a student.
How Pawan Kalyan Led Me to Join Jana Sena
I entered politics while pursuing my post-graduation and became actively involved with the Youth Congress. I remained with Congress until 2016. During the tenure of former chief minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, I served as a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) from 2007 to 2013. I briefly joined YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, I was inspired by the vision and dedication of Jana Sena Party chief K Pawan Kalyan to serve the people and address the needs of the underprivileged, which led me to join Jana Sena Party.
