The Telangana Governor has approved the two appropriation Bills passed during the budget session.
As per the GO issued by the Telangana government on February 22 both appropriation bills were given consent. As per the GO issued by Finance Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, the Telangana State Legislature has voted without reduction, on the demands for grants for the year 2023-24 presented to it on 06-02-2023.
The estimates in the Budget for the year 2023-24 as presented to the Legislature on 06-02-2023 will now be treated as final.
The Telangana Appropriation (No: 2) Act, 2023 (Act No: 3 of 2023) published in the Telangana Gazette (Extraordinary) dated 14-02-2023 is forwarded to all Departments of the Secretariat and to the Heads of Departments for information and necessary action. The Telangana legislature website is yet to reflect the changes.
