The Telangana BJP Legislative Party leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy said the Congress Government made Governor Jishnu Dev Varma speak lies in his speech to both Houses of the Legislature on Wednesday.
Speaking to the media after the Governor’s speech, Maheshwar said the government made the Governor tell lies like the farm loan waiver scheme was implemented fully although the scheme has not been implemented properly. The government also made the Governor speak lies about the Rythu Bharosa scheme before implementing it properly.
Maheshwar said the government had not implemented even a single assurance given before the elections but made the Governor say that the government had implemented all six guarantees perfectly. He said the government is trying to dupe people by making the Governor speak lies.
Maheshwar demanded that the government should run the House till April 20 as it is not possible to discuss all issues that affect the public in just five days.
He said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is running the House just to get approval for bills and the budget.
