Home Minister Vanitha fetes national fencing player Priyusha

Minister for Home and Disaster Management Taneti Vanitha praised national Fencing player Dhaniyala Naga Priyusha, who is a student of VS St John’s Higher Secondary School in Gannavaram, at a function held on the premises of the school for her outstanding performance in various tournaments.

Dhaniyala Naga Priyusha won a gold medal and a bronze medal in the recently concluded Fencing tournament and was selected to the Andhra Pradesh team to take part in the national championship. She will participate in the national fencing championship to be held in Kerala from January 10 to 13.

Minister Vanitha participated along with Gannavaram MLA Dr Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan in the VS St John’s Higher Secondary School annual day function and felicitated National Fencing player Naga Priyusha. She appreciated the school management for encouraging sports and games on par with education.
