BRS President Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that all sections of people in Telangana won under BRS rule but the people of India lost under Modi.

KCR said the Modi government’s policy is the “socialisation of losses and privatization of profits.”

He made it clear that the BRS will definitely come to power at the Centre and the BJP will lose the 2024 LS elections.

Finding fault with Modi for not giving an explanation on the Hindenburg report in Parliament, KCR said that he will resign if the facts he had revealed about the Modi government are false.

He said that the nation was destroyed under Modi’s rule compared to the times of Dr Manmohan Singh. He said that Congress rule is a ‘License Raj’ and Modi rule is a ‘Silence Raj.’

“I am giving 24-hour power supply and the nation would get 24-hour power if an efficient PM takes over,” KCR said. He said that Telangana lost Rs 3 lakh crore due to the non-performing government at the Centre.

Replying to the Appropriation Bill in the Assembly on Sunday, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao criticized the BJP-led Modi government for more than two hours.

He said that leaders are winning and people are losing whenever elections are held. The people voted for the BJP and Modi hoping that they will do better than the Congress. But the people of India have now fallen into the oven from the pan.

KCR said that the Centre did severe injustice to Telangana in its 2023-24 budget as it failed to allot a single medical college or a nursing college to Telangana although it allocated 157 medical colleges and 157 nursing colleges to other states.

“Is this democracy? Is this cooperative federalism?” KCR asked stating that not only Telangana if any other state is treated like that then it is an injustice.

About 20 lakh people renounced Indian citizenship after Modi came to power, KCR said, and added that the BJP came to power criticizing Manmohan Singh for not performing.

Showing the book titled ‘The Lost Decade’ written by Pooja Mehra, KCR asked people to read it as she has clearly stated what is happening in India.

Stating that he will resign if his figures about the Modi government are wrong, KCR said that Telangana’s GSDP would have been Rs 16,000 billion but it is only Rs 13,000 billion-plus. Telangana lost Rs 3,000 billion, KCR said. The nation has been hit in every sector. “We don’t understand what is happening in the nation after seeing the Adani episode,” he said.

BJP lawyer Ashwini Upadyaya approached the court seeking a ban on the BBC Channel in India when the BBC telecasted documents on Modi’s role in the Godhra incident. “Where is India going? What will the world would think about India,” he asked and declared that Modi’s rule will end in 2024.

KCR said the Modi government is beyond par in all aspects compared to Manmohan’s government and CAG figures clearly state the fact.

KCR said the BRS is asking Modi to explain what the Centre will do to protect India from the Adani crisis. “But Modi is not speaking a single word about it. What will Modi tell international investors? Nobody knows what Adani group has done. But the Adani group’s USD 112 billion evaporated,” he said.

Adani came to Telangana but they did not come to do business and as Telangana failed to give land for it, KCR said. The London-based ‘The Economist’ magazine said what India is going to do about Adani, KCR said.

KCR said that the Centre gave Rs 495 crore by mistake to Andhra Pradesh instead of Telangana but is not giving it back since the last seven years.

Modi is frustrated after the Adani episode has come out and the BJP and the Congress are criticizing each other stating that one dethroned the state governments more than the other, he said.

Modi’s speech in Parliament was atrocious. Analysts said that existing shares would also lose ground, KCR said.

He said that Modi’s USD 5 trillion economy is a big joke. India is in the 139th place out of 192 nations in per capita income. He said that people in Modi’s circle would keep praising him till Modi becomes the former Prime Minister.

KCR said that privatization has been taking place in India indiscriminately. The LIC is India’s soul and is the biggest insurance company in the world. But Modi is trying to privatise LIC. The Modi government is following the maxim ‘Socialisation of losses and privatization of profit.”

KCR said that the government should not function with a business mind but it has to do business when needed.

He said that the growth rate during the Congress regime was 6.8 per cent but during the Modi government it fell to 5.5 per cent. Due to the failure of the Congress, the BRS is fighting the Modi government, he said, saying that the growth rate during UPA government was 24 per cent more.

The growth rate of per capita income during the Manmohan Singh government was 12.73 per cent, but it fell to 7.01 per cent. The debt percentage in GDP was 66.7 per cent during the Manmohan regime but it fell to 52 per cent. However, it increased from 52.2 per cent to 56 per cent under Modi, KCR said.

The exports’ growth rate during Manmohan was 19.5 per cent but it fell to 4.9 per cent under Modi. Make in India became a Joke in India, he said.

The Rupee fell massively. The Centre says ‘no data available’ whatever asked about anything and so it is truly NDA, KCR said. “I am ready to resign if I am proved false,” KCR said.

India needs Desh Ki Guru and not a Vishwa Guru, KCR said and declared that the most inefficient government India has seen is that of Prime Minister Modi.

“Yes. I supported Modi on demonetization and other issues believing in him. But Modi changed after that,” he said.

“I launched BRS seeing the nation’s condition,” he said making it clear that TS is giving 24-hous power supply due to an efficient CM and the nation would get 24-hour power if the nation gets an efficient PM.

He said that both the Congress and the BJP did nothing for the nation. KCR made it clear to Modi to give up narrow-minded politics. “We are ready to cooperate and you have to cooperate with us.”

‘People won’t keep quiet’

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao gave a counter to TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy and Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s comments on the demolition of the Pragathi Bhavan and the domes of the new secretariat building on Sunday in the Assembly. KCR said the public will not remain silent if they demolish them. The people will break their legs and hands and would look after those ‘thamashas.’ Replying to the Appropriation Bill on Sunday, KCR said that the coming government at the Centre will be a BRS government and that it will implement what it assures.

He said the BRS government will provide drinking water to every house. No government stopped census even during world wars, but the Modi government stopped the census thinking that their “secrets will come out,” KCR said.

KCR said that the BJP and the Congress destroyed the nation.

He asked Modi how many times he will inaugurate Vande Bharat trains which get destroyed even if a buffalo hits it. Modi inaugurated Vande Bharat trains 14 times.

He said the Modi government did not give a single medical college or nursing college to Telangana and how can people vote for the BJP. “We will definitely question the BJP regarding this during elections,” he said.
