Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is set to launch the month-long ‘Jagananna Suraksha’ programme, which will be conducted across 15,004 Village/Ward Secretariats. The launch will take place at the CM’s Camp Office in Tadepalli on June 23 (Friday).

The Jagan government is introducing the flagship programme of ‘Jagananna Suraksha’, to address grievances and take ‘Jaganannaku Chebudam’ to the next level by covering every household in every village. To find out the schedule of the ‘Jagananna Suraksha’ programme in their Village/Ward Secretariats, people can call 1902 or visit https://vswsonline.ap.gov.in/#/home.

CM Jagan stated, “No eligible person should be deprived of Welfare Schemes. We are delivering Welfare Schemes in a transparent manner, ensuring 100% saturation, and leaving no room for corruption or discrimination based on caste, religion, sect, or political affiliation. ‘Jagananna Suraksha’ is an unprecedented initiative in the country to address public grievances by visiting each household.”

Officials mentioned that the Jagan government has already benefited all eligible families in the State through saturation mode. However, to extend the benefits to those eligible families who were left out for various reasons, a house-to-house screening will be conducted as part of ‘Jagananna Suraksha.’ This screening will identify and provide welfare benefits to the remaining eligible families and assist them in obtaining the necessary certificates (such as Birth, Death, Caste, CCRC, Ration card division, etc., totaling 11 types of certificates), free of any service charges, through the ‘Jagananna Suraksha’ initiative.

The ‘Jagananna Suraksha’ team, comprising volunteers, staff from Village/Ward Secretariats, public representatives, and enthusiastic supporters of CM Jagan and his Government, will commence house visits on June 24. They aim to visit all 1.6 Crore households across the State within a period of 7-10 days to collect grievances. Once the remaining eligible beneficiaries are identified, the necessary documents will be collected to resolve their issues. If they require any certificates, such as Birth, Income, or Caste certificates, the team will assist them in filling out the necessary applications and collect the essential documents.

The ‘Jagananna Suraksha’ team will submit the collected documents to the Secretariat, receive token numbers and service request numbers, and deliver them to the citizens at their residences. They will also notify residents of the camp dates in their village, escort them to the camp, and provide support until the issues are resolved.

Starting from July 1, Mandal-level officials, along with Tahsildar, EO, PR&RD teams, and MPDO and Deputy Tahsildar teams, will conduct ‘Jagananna Suraksha’ camps. These camps will operate for a whole day in the Village/Ward Secretariat, addressing Welfare Scheme issues and providing necessary documents on the spot, free of any service charges.

Inspections of all camps will be carried out by 26 special officers for the 26 districts, including District Collectors, Joint Collectors, and other officials. District Collectors will review the progress of the program on a daily basis, while CMO officials will review the progress on a weekly basis.
