Shraddha Srinath, renowned for her powerful performances in films like Jersey, Krishna and His Leela and Daaku Maharaaj, stars in the upcoming sci-fi adventure thriller Kaliyugam 2064. Set in the future, the film promises a gripping and exciting narrative. Alongside Shraddha, the movie also features Kishore, Iniyan Subramani, and Harry in pivotal roles. The film marks the directorial debut of Pramodh Sundar, with KS Ramakrishna producing.
The film, made in both Tamil and Telugu, is slated for release on May 9, 2025, capitalising on the summer holiday period. The first-look poster was launched by the celebrated director Mani Ratnam and now another iconic filmmaker, 
Ram Gopal Varma, has unveiled the trailer. On this occasion, RGV lauded the filmmakers, calling it a futuristic experience with impressive visuals. The film’s grand sets and visually stunning effects bring the world of Kaliyugam 2064 to life, aided by K Ramachandran’s remarkable cinematography.
The story is set in 2064, focusing on humanity’s struggle for survival in a world where resources like food and water are scarce, and kindness has almost disappeared. Drawing inspiration from mythological themes related to Kaliyugam, the movie promises a captivating blend of visual effects and a powerful background score.
