MLA gives away Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to 356 beneiciaries

Nalgonda legislator K Bhupal Reddy has said that government implemented special development schemes for women in new state of Telangana.

He distributed Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak cheques among 356 beneficiaries. The ML districted a total of Rs 3,56,41,296 among the beneficiaries.

Thinking that a girl child should not be a burden to a poor family, the state government implemented the scheme. He remarked that women act as a catalyst in taking society forward.

He expressed concern over the elimination of girl child soon after its birth dropping food grains in its mouth. That is why, the CM is providing them nutritious food till the delivery is over. Moreover the government is encouraging women to undergo institutional deliveries in government hospitals. Also, it deposits Rs 13,000 in the name of girl child.

Under Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak, unprecedented schemes in the country, the government gifts Rs 1,00,116 to the girl child.

That is why poor families regard KCR as their eldest son, he said appealing to women to strengthen the hands of KCR more and more.
