Monday Mirchi : Prabhakar Rao is Kasim Rizvi

The Congress government seems to have tightened its noose around former Intelligence IG Prabhakar Rao. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has been avoiding media queries related to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) G Praneeth Rao, who is under suspension in connection with the case relating to alleged phone-tapping and erasing of official data. Asked pointedly how he felt about invasion of his privacy, he countered: “Who is Praneeth Rao?” But, to a loaded question ‘Who is Qasim Rizvi, if KCR is Nizam?’ Revanth Reddy responded: “It is former IG Prabhakar Rao”. The whispers in corridors of power are that IG Prabhakar Rao is going to face the music and he just cannot get away easily.
