Monday Mirchi : Spring cleaning in GSWS Dept

Thanks to the upcoming elections, it appears as if the GSWS (Grama Sachivalayam, Ward Sachivalayam) Department in Andhra Pradesh is game for some spring cleaning. This single most important department, tasked with implementing welfare schemes that are at the heart of the present dispensation, has witnessed four IAS officers being transferred over the past three months! Initially, Lakshmisha was given additional charge as director of the department. Later, Joint Collector Chetan was posted as the director. Within weeks, he too was transferred and Dhyana Chandra was given additional charge as the director. In the latest reshuffle, Dhyana Chandra was transferred as Joint Collector Tirupati and M Siva Prasad, MD & Vice Chairman AP Seed Development Corporation, has been given additional charge as director of GSWS.
