Naidu-Lokesh role in APSSDC scam very clear, says Sajjala

Advisor to the Government of AP (Public Affairs), Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has alleged that the role of Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh in the skill development scam is very clear. The Central investigation agency has already identified the matter.

Sajjala said that the father-son duo is calm as the Central investigation agency has proved their involvement in the scam. Otherwise, they would have criticised it as political vendetta.

He said that evidence was found in the APSSDC scam and the ED did their job. Such a huge scam is not possible without the cooperation and support of the top people in the government. “So there are doubts about the involvement of Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh,” he said.

The Government Advisor said that ‘Rayalaseema Garjana’ was held as per the aspirations of the people. The programme was organised to counter the conspiracies that are hindering the efforts of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to develop all the regions. He said, “Chandrababu Naidu visited Kurnool and said that none of the residents of Rayalaseema wanted decentralisation of administration. He said that the people of Kurnool want Amaravati as their capital, which shows his arrogance.” Proving Chandrababu’s stand on the region false, the people of Rayalaseema organised the ‘Garjana’ programme and the YSRC gave total support to it, Sajjala said.

Rayalaseema was developed during the tenure of Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy in the past and now it is making long strides under the leadership of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. “Chandrababu Naidu did not complete at least one project nor did he launch any in that area during his tenure,” he said.

Sajjala recalled that the CM inaugurated the tourism project at Chitravati Reservoir. There is 10 TMC water in Chitravati and 27 TMC water in Gandikota besides a maximum water storage of 15 TMC in Brahma Sagar. The Srisailam project is the only source of water for Rayalaseema. That is why all reservoirs are filled during floods. During the Dr. YSR regime, the works of Pothireddypadu head water works were done and now CM Jagan is widening all the canals, he said.

Sajjala pointed out that Chandrababu Naidu did not do anything for Kuppam, and was trying to create problems for Rayalaseema projects. He recalled the words of PM Modi that “Chandrababu Naidu used the Polavaram project as an ATM.”

While YSRCP remains committed to decentralisation of administration. Chandrababu, who is in an illusion, is making baseless criticism against the government, Sajjala said.
