A day before assuming office as the Deputy Chief Minister, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan visited the State Secretariat at Velagapudi.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu welcomed him warmly into the CM’s office. Pawan Kalyan was accompanied by PAC chairman and Minister Nadendla Manohar and Minister Kandhla Durgesh.
Following the welcome, the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister held a meeting that lasted over an hour. According to sources, CM Naidu discussed the upcoming AP Legislative Assembly Session, scheduled for June 21 and 22, in detail with Pawan Kalyan.
Reports indicate that CM Naidu briefed Pawan Kalyan on the Cabinet’s working style, the nature of various portfolios, administration, official setups, and other official matters.
He also provided suggestions regarding the various departments Pawan Kalyan will oversee, including Panchayati Raj, Rural Development & Rural Water Supply, Environment, Forest, Science, and Technology.
Additionally, the CM and Dy CM discussed the resumption of construction work for the Amaravati Capital and ensuring justice for the farmers who voluntarily contributed 33,000 acres under the Land Pooling System for the development of a world-class capital in Amaravati.
