District Collector directed the officials to grasp the election guidelines and norms during the training programme  and improve their knowledge to conduct elections in a fair and unbiased manner.
The District Collector participated in the training programme, organized for the Assembly level Master Trainers at the local Collectorate Spandana meeting hall on Wednesday. Training was imparted to the officials concerned on polling management, use of EVMs, election code of conduct, IT applications and postal ballot.
On the occasion, Collector Sumit Kumar said that training programmes are very important to conduct elections. He said that if officials have gained complete knowledge on election management in the training programme, they could conduct elections easily.
The District Collector ordered that the matters, which they learned from the Assembly level master trainers, should be thoroughly taught to the polling officers, assistant polling officers and OPVs of the respective constituencies. On the occasion, the District Collector asked everyone to work hard for the successful completion of the elections with collective efforts.
