Prostitution racket busted, two held

The police busted a high-tech prostitution racket by arresting two persons and rescued seven women from the flesh trade.

DSP B Srinath told the media here on Saturday that on a tip-off that prostitution was being organised in a beauty parlour, a police team led by SI Appa Rao conducted a raid on A9 Beauty Salon and Spa and seized Rs 31,500 cash, 13 smartphones, a swiping machine of HDFC, a chequebook and condom packets. in the guise of a salon and spa centre, prostitution was organised, the DSP said.

The police rescued 7 women brought from various places and forced into the flesh trade. The police arrested two persons and registered cases under sections Cr. 354/2022, 370 (3), 370 (A) 2 r/w and 34 IPC.
