Sandeshkhali incident in wb ABVP burns TMC effigy

Activists of ABVP on Tuesday consigned an effigy of TMC to flames in Mahatma Gandhi University campus demanding the Centre to hang the culprits of Sandeshkhali episode in West Bengal.
They said that the whole society condemned the incident and sought urgent action against the Sandeshkhali culprits awarding stern punishment to them and render justice to the victims.
The ABVP lent its voice to the victims of Sandeshkhali incident and consigning TMC effigy across the state and submit memoranda to district collectors.
ABVP leaders Dayakar, Abhinav, Murali, Vamsi and others took part in the incident. ABVP state committee member Navin Kumar and district convenor Avula Sampath accused TMC leader Shajahan Shaik and his supporters taking advantage of the ruling party assaulted the remote tribal people, encroached their lands and outraged the modestyof women and condemned the activists of Shajahan Shaik.
Even after 75 years after the country becoming independent, women are still being viewed as objects of sex, they lamented.
The ruling party leaders of West Bengal have been harassing women in more ways than one and outraging their modesty in the party offices putting the civil society to shame.

They questioned the rationale behind Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee not taking concrete action against the ruling party leaders perpetrating atrocities against women.
