Some senior BJP leaders are unhappy at the delay in preparing a charge sheet to go to the people to expose the failures and corruption of the State government, as advised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the core committee meeting held on November 11 during the PM’s AP visit.
Though it has been 20 days since the Prime Minister advised the senior leaders to prepare a charge sheet and go to the people to expose the misdeeds of Jagan Reddy headed the AP government, no action was initiated by the senior leaders.
During the BJP core committee meeting with the Prime Minister, BJP senior leaders D Purandeswari, Satyakumar, CM Ramesh, and MLC Madhav explained to the Prime Minister the YSRCP-led government’s failures. They also explained to him the corruption which had taken place during the YSRCP government. After listing the BJP leaders’ complaints against the YSRCP government’s failures and corruption, the Prime Minister asked them to prepare a charge sheet and go to people exposing the failures and misdeeds. Modi also asked the BJP leaders to procure signatures from the people on the issues.
Though the Prime Minister directed to prepare a charge sheet and go to people to explain the failures and corruption of the state government, no action has been initiated by state leaders.
“State affairs co-in-charge Sunil Deodhar and State president Somu Veerraju and Union Minister Madhukar maintain silence on the issue. The core committee did not even respond when the Prime Minister directed them to go to the people and expose the failures of the State government. It amounts to insulting the Prime Minister,” some BJP leaders opined. A BJP senior leader felt that the pro-Jagan Mohan Reddy leaders in the BJP do not want to prepare a charge sheet and go to people to expose the misdeeds of the government. “Some leaders are in favour of the Jagan Reddy-led government which is why they are hesitating to formulate a programme to go to the people,” he alleged.
