Regional Passport Office has announced that Special Passport Drives will be on Saturdays starting from April 29.
Due to huge demand and long waiting in appointment availability, PSP Division in Ministry of External Affairs has decided to conduct Special Passport Drives on Saturdays starting from April 29 till further notice, in five Passport Service Kendras in Hyderabad, Begumpet, Ameerpet and Tolichowki, one each in Karimnagar and Nizamabad.
There are 3,056 appointments under all categories of Tatkal, Normal and PCC which are to be released for the first Special Drive to be conducted on coming Saturday.
Appointments for the coming Saturday would be released in the Passport seva website at 4 pm on April 27 (Thursday).
All applicants, both registering now and desiring to reschedule their appointment, may make use of this facility through www.passportindia.gov.in or Passport seva app and attend respective PSKS where their slots are booked.
