Manthani MLA Duddilla Sridharbabu has demanded that the Panchayatraj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao resolve just demands of the village panchayat workers and regularise their services.
Sridhar Babu, who was the former minister, wanted the government to do away with the multi-purpose workers system and regularise the panchayat workers category-wise.
It may be recalled that the panchayat workers have been on an indefinite strike for over a month in support of their demands.
The Minister for Panchayat should resolve their problems as the Karobars, pump operators, electricians, safai karmacharis are being paid paltry wages.
He also sought resolution of the R and R problems of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited affective villages of Singireddypalli, Peddampeta, Mangalipalli, Jallaram, Racchapalli, SC Colony, Adyala. The government has been paying no attention to the protests of the Naya village displaced persons for long. In Ladnapur village, 283 villages should be extended the R and R package.
When the villagers submitted memoranda to Minister Harish Rao and Koppula Eswar, they assured the people to resolve their problems.
