Telugu film producer Naga Vamsi on Friday took to social media to share a heartfelt birthday wish for actor Vijay Deverakonda, shedding light on the often contrasting perceptions surrounding the popular star. In a candid note posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Vamsi described Deverakonda as one of the most misunderstood yet humble individuals in the film industry.
Reflecting on his initial assumptions before working with the actor, Vamsi revealed that he and director Gowtam Tinnanuri had certain apprehensions. “Before our first meeting, @gowtam19 and I used to wonder how we’d make a film with a hero with such a strong attitude,” he wrote. “But after meeting you, all those thoughts changed.”
He went on to praise Deverakonda’s genuine personality, noting the striking contrast between the public’s perception and the actor’s true self. “You’re one of the most soft-spoken and humble people. So different from the person the world sees on stage with a mic,” Vamsi added.
