‘We fought CBN & YSR’ Revanth no big deal: KTR‘

Must read

BRS MLA KTR, speaking at the BRSV representatives’ meeting held at the Telangana Bhavan, emphasized the determination shown during the Telangana movement and said that the challenges faced then were far greater than what the current government poses.
“We fought formidable opponents like N. Chandrababu Naidu and YS Rajasekhar Reddy. So the current CM is no big deal,” he said, dismissing Revanth Reddy’s leadership as insignificant in comparison.
KTR paid tributes to the students who led the charge for Telangana under KCR’s leadership, acknowledging their sacrifices and bravery.
He criticized the current CM, Revanth Reddy, for being inexperienced and uninformed and pointed out his recent public gaffes.
“Revanth doesn’t even know what he doesn’t know,” KTR said, mocking his frequent errors during speeches. Highlighting the transformative achievements under KCR’s leadership, KTR pointed out the numerous projects completed, especially in irrigation and education.
“KCR made Telangana number one in per capita income and major irrigation projects like Kaleshwaram,” he stated.

He also said that the BRS government’s welfare schemes had substantially improved the quality of life of farmers and youth. KTR continued his attack on the Congress government, criticising its lack of action on job creation and the mishandling of reservations, particularly for SCs and STs.
He asked why, despite promises, there had been no significant job notifications after Revanth Reddy assumed office.
Encouraging BRSV representatives to mobilize the youth, KTR said that the BRS must remain the dominant political force in Telangana for years to come.
“It’s time to build a new leadership that can continue KCR’s legacy and take Telangana to greater heights,” he said, concluding with a call to action to the party’s youth.
