BRS supremo Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has triggered speculations about two things. But it is very difficult to read KCR’s mind and his political strategies.
Now political circles as well as BRS cadres are speculating that KCR’s son IT Minister KT Rama Rao may take over as Chief Minister and may go for early Assembly elections.
It is a well-known fact that KTR is the political successor of KCR. But now the hot topic is whether KTR will be made the Chief Minister before the Assembly elections or after that.
According to speculations in BRS circles, KCR may make KTR the Chief Minister before the Assembly elections and he will concentrate on national politics.
According to another theory in BRS circles, KCR will make KTR the Chief Minister only after the Assembly elections. KCR may give full responsibility for leading the BRS during the Assembly elections to KTR and if the BRS wins it will be treated as public acceptance of KTR.
After winning the Assembly elections KTR will be made the Chief Minister. If KTR is made the CM before the Assembly elections KCR can tour other states as a former CM. There is a lot of difference between the Chief Minister and a former CM while touring other states for expanding the BRS footprint.
If the BRS wins the Assembly elections KCR’s national image will get a boost and there will be no problems if he tours other states as a former CM.Meanwhile, BRS circles strongly think that KCR may not go for early elections.
