NTR District Collector Dr S Dilli Rao has given specific instructions to all mandal-level officers that he will not tolerate negligence in the housing and Manabadi Nadu–Nedu programmes in the district.
He expressed unhappiness over the negligence in providing sufficient infrastructure as the State government had insufficient funds.
The Collector, along with Joint Collector S Nupur Ajay Kumar, conducted a review through video conference with Sub-Collector Aditi Singh, RDOs, Mandal Special Officers, Municipal Commissioners, MPDOs, Tahsildars, Panchayat Raj and Housing engineering officers from the collectorate in Vijayawada on Wednesday.
Dilli Rao was angered over the negligence of Reddigudem mandal officers as they did not prepare estimates for constructing additional classrooms in the schools. He directed that all officers should reach targets by consuming the funds for Nadu–Nedu works. Also, he referred to the housing construction and said that sped up the construction.
