The police arrested two persons including a youth, with a 9 mm USA-made revolver on Thursday.
Police said that Kerala Satyanarayana Alias Srinivas was doing egg business. He brought a 9 mm USA-made revolver from his cousin Botsa Mohan who lives in Vizianagaram. Satyanarayana planned to use the revolver to extort money.
Satyanarayana wanted to check the revolver whether would go off.
He took the help of his neighbour Amalla Hari, who is working as an auto-rickshaw driver.
When both were going on a two-wheeler to the outskirts to check the revolver, the police on suspicion, checked their vehicle and found the revolver and 7 bullets.
The police held them and seized the US-made revolver.
